Kimberly Crawford is a special education advocate with A2IDEAS. She has a J.D. from Southwestern Law School, which she earned while working for a criminal defense firm in Los Angeles. As an undergraduate she studied English Literature at the University of San Francisco.
Kimberly has two children in Ann Arbor Public Schools. She has been advocating for her youngest son, who is on the autism spectrum, for the past 6 years. Her legal background combined with personal experience in the special education system make her uniquely positioned to advocate effectively and with empathy. She is committed to helping families secure the most appropriate placement, services, and supports for their children in the least restrictive environment.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys traveling and hanging out with her family. Otherwise you can find her lost in a book or playing fetch with her dog.
