Adriana Rodriguez has a JD from Georgetown University Law Center and a BA from the University of Notre Dame. Her professional experience includes advocating for at-risk youth and human rights causes in Seattle and London, working with individuals experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC and Hawaii, and as an attorney for Perkins Coie LLC specializing in corporate insolvency and restructuring.
Adriana is mother of two children both enrolled in Ann Arbor Public Schools. Prior to moving to Ann Arbor in 2016, she lived with her family overseas in London and Zurich for 13 years, where her children attended local and international schools. This experience reinforced her belief that empathy with and support for families navigating complex and varied educational systems is essential to providing the best access and engagement for all, especially vulnerable populations.
Additionally, Adriana has been an active member of her elementary school PTO, a member of the PTO Council, and a founding member of the Safe Routes to School initiative at Angell Elementary.
